Pumpkin Painting and Halloween Costume

We let Evelyn paint her pumpkin that she got at the pumpkin patch. I was amazed at how well she did. I would open a color for her and she would dip the paint brush in the paint multiple times and paint on the pumpkin until she wanted a new color. What a little artist :)

This was right after she stuck the paint brush in her mouth. Thank goodness it was non-toxic washable children's paint.

 Finished product!

For Halloween we dressed Evelyn up as a Elephant. Her costume is dedicated to all the little kids who can't say Evelyn and ended up calling her Baby Elephant. I LOVED her costume! She even wore the hood the whole night at the ward trunk-or-treat. By the end of the night she was dragging her pumpkin with her candy in it because she didn't want mom to help her. It was really cute! I am sad we didn't have our camera with us to get a picture of that. I must say, Halloween is so much fun as a parent!
