The New Addition to the Family

I bet you all thought this post would be about our baby boy, gotcha! We still have 19 days until my due date.  We have entered the world of minivans. Ben was in an accident about 2 weeks ago and our Jimmy was totaled. Since it was our only car we had to go car shopping and decided that a minivan was a practical and probably wise choice for our growing family. Neither of us had ever really wanted a minivan but I have a confession...I really like it! It is so spacious! Haha. This post might not be too interesting to most of you but we mainly added all of the pictures so our families could see the new car. We ended up with a 2004 Honda Odyssey. Not brand new but new to us. It only had 74,000 miles, so there is plenty of life left in it!

Look at the room between the 2nd and 3rd row!
It has a plethora of cup holders, I have counted 11 off the top of my head!

And this is my favorite picture of the group!

Another Day at the Park

Evelyn loves playing in the bark ever since her friend Jack showed her what it is all about :)

Evelyn can now climb on the seesaw all by herself.

She is learning to love the slide! Today was the first time going down the slide without holding on to mommy or daddy's hand. She rocked it!

I love these two!!

Park Time

We have been trying to take Evelyn to the park more. She loves to swing and go down the slide!

Not the best picture of me, but a cute one of Evelyn. If you look you can see her top two teeth which finally came in! She has been a little slow on the go with getting teeth.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas here in Baton Rouge. It was our first Christmas where we didn't go see family. Even though it was quiet, we had a great day. We were able to skype and talk to our family. Our morning started out later than probably most of you since Evelyn slept in until 10 am. We had a fun morning opening gifts and eating cinnamon rolls. Our families spoiled us for sure!

Evelyn in her Christmas dress the Sunday before Christmas. We had a hard time getting a picture of her sitting/standing still and smiling at the same time. She had a runny nose that day.

Evelyn ran right over to her sock. She knew which one was hers!

I think she was happy that she finally wasn't going to get into trouble for playing with the gifts under the tree.

She was all into opening up presents. She had been practicing for a few days. I think I had a gift that was only half wrapped by the time Christmas morning came around.
Ben was so excited that there were two clips in his package from my parents!

Opening presents wore Evelyn out!
